Sat. 8th, 6-8pm: Opening of the CAPS Ekphrasis exhibition at The Roost in New Paltz which includes some of my poetry. The show runs from Feb. 7 to March 1, and I’ll be among the readers at the opening.

Sun. 23rd, 4:30 – 7 pm at the Rosendale Cafe: back at the Celtic Cafe with Sarah Underhill on vocals and Ian Worpole on strings and vocals.

January 2020

December 2019

Sun. 22nd, 4:30 – 7 pm at the Rosendale Cafe: Celtic Cafe with Sarah Underhill on vocals and Ian Worpole on strings and vocals with special guest fiddler T.G.Vanini. Celebrate the Winter Solstice and festive holidays of every stripe with traditional and contemporary Celtic / Americana songs,carols and tunes, and of course Ian’s reading of A Child’s Christmas in Wales, an annual tradition at the cafe. Requests and chorus singing welcome; meet up with friends old and new for a special Celtic Cafe now in its thirteenth year.

November 2019

Thu. 14th at 7: T. G. Vanini will be a featured poet at WOMPS (Word of Mouth Poetry Series) at ArtBar on Broadway in Kingston. Open mic follows; $3.

Sun. 24th, 4:30 – 7 pm at the Rosendale Cafe: Sarah Underhill, Ian Worpole & special guest fiddler T.G.Vanini will be playing tunes & singing songs of the season (mostly about the weather). It’s a great atmosphere, lots of choruses to be sung, draft beers,wines&veggie foods.

September 2019

Wed. 4th at 7:30pm: T. G. Vanini will be among the Post Traumatic Press poets reading and also among the musicians performing in Radio-Active: Poems and Songs of Witness and Protest at the Catskill Lit Writing Festival and Retreat at the Ashokan Center.

August 2019

Sat. 10th: The Princes of Serendip will perform at the Roots Up! Festival, 2-7pm at the High Falls Cafe. We’re on at 3pm.

Fri. 16th at 8pm: Rhinecliff Library’s free Morton Acoustic series including The Princes Of Serendip.

Sat. 17th: The Princes of Serendip perform at around 1pm as part of the free Woodstock 50 Concert at Colony Woodstock, which runs from 11am to 7pm on the 17th and 18th.

Sun. 19th at 4pm: The Princes of Serendip celebrate the release of their new album “Yumpatiddly Bee: Silly Songs” with a concert of their silly, sentimental, strange and story songs. Joining T. G. and Julie will be George Quinn, Julie Last, Mikhail Horowitz, and Jude Roberts. Admission $10 or what you can, free for kids. CDs and downloads will be on sale at silly prices. Sat. 6th at 5pm: Woodstock Library Forum, Woodstock, NY: “To Reach a Hand Through Time” — T. G. Vanini will read poems from his recently published book “Dear Cloudface” and a few selections from his favorite 19th century poets, and will be joined by the other Prince of Serendip, Julie Parisi Kirby, to explore the boundaries of poetry and song.
